There is really nothing going on!!!
Eli is talking a lot more. He's to the age where he'll repeat words if you tell him "say ---" (sometimes anyway). His obsession with bubbles is growing. I picked him up from church last Sunday and his hair was a MESS! I jokingly asked Kristen what was going on w/it. She told me my son was crazy in the bubbles -- all in them! Well, that brought to our attention that we really haven't brought out the bubbles we have from a yr. ago. Got them out and man o man what a blast we have!! Just tonight Eli and I were outside playing with bubbles and he decided that HE could do it and he didn't need MY help! The phrase "WHAT A MESS" is an understatement! There were bubbles ALL over him and me both. Once we came back inside into the tub he went. I washed him then had Matt watch him so I could jump in the shower cause I was STICKY too! Boys will be boys! The messier and dirtier something is the more fun it is to do or play with or even eat! I absolutely love being Eli's mom! I really wasn't sure if I would know what to do with a boy once he got past the infant stage, but I have to say I think I'm doing a pretty good job being 'messy/dirty/rough & tumble'! Hooray for me!
