C R A Z Y hair days...

Both my guys are in major need of haircuts! Matt has been asking me for a week to cut their hair but by the time we get to it, it's late and we say oh tomorrow is fine. Well, last night Matt gave Eli his bath for me (thanks honey) and this is what I walked in on. Ya think they were trying to tell me they need haircuts? He He He...

Being Matt's wife makes me crazy sometimes, but then I realize that I have to be partly crazy to be his wife cause he's mostly crazy! Then you throw in there being Eli's mom... he's his father's son. I love love love love my guys! They mean more to me than anything! I love their craziness, silliness, oneriness, cuteness, loving-ness, I just love them both! You 2 are my world! I thank God every day for you both!

Is it gettin' cold?

Eli has been on a new adventure lately. It's something that I really am trying to not encourage, but it really is funny! He has discovered that he can open the refrigerator and climb inside! Now, I will 1st off tell you that he CANNOT shut the door cause he's too big. He will get in there and say "bye bye".

I LOVE this one! The look on his face says it all.

Matt made it home...

It's been a week or so since Matt was gone on his 'man vacation', but he made it home safe & sound. Just in time too, cause ALL day that Thursday Eli was saying "Daddy home? Daddy work? Where Daddy?"...
Matt had a great time w/his dad, brother, & to be brother-in-law. They golfed, went to some Rangers' games, and ate ate ate... You know, guy stuff! : )

Matt bought all 3 of us these Houston Astros ball caps. (I didn't even know we were Astros fans Ha Ha Ha Ha...)

I'm so happy my hubby is home! I kinda missed the guy!

A Walk Down Memory Lane....

I am working on an online scrapbook for a special family member and I was thinking I need to post some of my favorite Eli photos!

When Eli was 8 months old we all went on a vacation to Galveston Island w/Matt's brother & sister. Eli was so good! We all had so much fun. It was March so it was too cold to get in the water, but we still had a good time.

Eli & Uncle Jeff

Matt isn't in these 1st pics. b/c he flew in after we arrived (that's right people I drove to Galveston ALL BY MYSELF!, well Staci, Jeff, & Eli were w/me).

Galveston is not the prettiest beach, but it's a good vacation. We're actually thinking about going back next month.
There are sure some funny named places too. : )

We had a really good time.

Here is Eli's 1st Easter. It was SO cold! We went to Matt's parents' house for Easter dinner, got there took pics. and then changed into warm clothes! Gotta love Oklahoma weather! I of course saw an opportunity to take some fun shots of Eli w/just his tie on and I think they're just adorable!

These are some of my all time favorite pics. of Eli & I.

And some of my favorites of my 2 favorite boys. ** Check out the sign in the background of the last pic. of them. (That's why Matt was laughing, cause I told him the sign was in the pic. he said o'well it's kinda fitting!) MEN!!!

OK I feel a little better now that I got to go back in time for a little bit.

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Friend

Today is a dear friend's birthday. Kristen Anderson.

Kristen is Aiden's mom. We met when I started going back to Sunday school full time. Our boys have been in the same class since they were born. Our paths definitely crossed many times, but it wasn't until close to a yr. ago that we just smashed right into each other on those paths. A divine crash that is. I truly do thank God for Kristen. She's real, honest, sweet, loving, understanding, funny, compassionate, and a wonderful Christian wife, mom, & friend. Something that I love this crazy girl is her honesty & that she's always made me feel comfortable.

Kristen, thanks for being such a great friend to me. I love ya and hope this this next yr. bring you more joy and happiness than you ever could imagine (I also hope it brings you a 'little' something too -maybe wrapped in pink-).

We couldn't have a get together the day before our friend's b-day and NOT have cake right? Well, the boys sure didn't think so!

Eli had this chocolate mustache/goate (sp) thing going on!

Not really sure what Aiden had going on but it was sure messy...

And the youngest of the group, but by far the winner in the cupcake messiest contest... HUNTER!!!

This one is my favorite! Look at the innocence in his face!!!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I know the boys sure enjoyed you cake!

Best Buddies

The boys -Hunter, Aiden, & Eli- really seem to love getting together. I think they all know that it's time about 2-3X a week.

Just some random shots of the boys just playing and being boys!

And our 'big' boys (after golfing like crazy men, they're exhausted go figure)
