A Walk Down Memory Lane....

I am working on an online scrapbook for a special family member and I was thinking I need to post some of my favorite Eli photos!

When Eli was 8 months old we all went on a vacation to Galveston Island w/Matt's brother & sister. Eli was so good! We all had so much fun. It was March so it was too cold to get in the water, but we still had a good time.

Matt isn't in these 1st pics. b/c he flew in after we arrived (that's right people I drove to Galveston ALL BY MYSELF!, well Staci, Jeff, & Eli were w/me).





Galveston is not the prettiest beach, but it's a good vacation. We're actually thinking about going back next month.
There are sure some funny named places too. : )

Here is Eli's 1st Easter. It was SO cold! We went to Matt's parents' house for Easter dinner, got there took pics. and then changed into warm clothes! Gotta love Oklahoma weather! I of course saw an opportunity to take some fun shots of Eli w/just his tie on and I think they're just adorable!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Friend

Today is a dear friend's birthday. Kristen Anderson.

Kristen is Aiden's mom. We met when I started going back to Sunday school full time. Our boys have been in the same class since they were born. Our paths definitely crossed many times, but it wasn't until close to a yr. ago that we just smashed right into each other on those paths. A divine crash that is. I truly do thank God for Kristen. She's real, honest, sweet, loving, understanding, funny, compassionate, and a wonderful Christian wife, mom, & friend. Something that I love this crazy girl is her honesty & that she's always made me feel comfortable.

Kristen, thanks for being such a great friend to me. I love ya and hope this this next yr. bring you more joy and happiness than you ever could imagine (I also hope it brings you a 'little' something too -maybe wrapped in pink-).

We couldn't have a get together the day before our friend's b-day and NOT have cake right? Well, the boys sure didn't think so!

Best Buddies

The boys -Hunter, Aiden, & Eli- really seem to love getting together. I think they all know that it's time about 2-3X a week.

Golf Anyone?

I believe that Matt, Todd, & Chris are the 3 craziest men around. They decide that they're gonna play golf on Monday... At 3:00 in the afternoon. Do you know what the temp. (not heat index) was Monday at 3:00? 105-107!!!!! CRAZY doesn't even begin to describe their love affair w/golf. Kristen, Brandi, & I have decided we are DEFINITELY golf widows. No questions asked. So, we all get together when the big boys play and let the little boys play. **When to the girls get to 'play'??** Wednesday, we hope! Our game won't be golf though, it'll have something to do w/SHOPPING! We are almost guaranteed a win there.

Kristen, Aiden, Eli, & I met the guys at a hole to bring them some water. Imagine that they were thirsty? I managed to snap a few shots in between their shots!

I didn't get a pic. of this but Kristen & I laughed so hard so I thought I would share. The boys were walking behind us, we turned around to make sure they were coming and we see Eli lean in and whisper something to Aiden, next thing we know they are RUNNING as fast as they can towards us! We have NO doubts that Eli told Aiden to RUN! Just so funny!

I realized the other day that it's super silly to have such a handsome hubby and not take more pics. of him. So, much to his dismay, I took a couple shots right before he went to play golf w/Todd & Chris.



The 2nd one is really one of my favorite pics. of Matt probably EVER. I just love this man! He's part crazy, part comic book geek, part golf-a-holic, part video game weird-o, but mostly he's AWESOME. He's a GREAT dad. He's a GREAT husband (most of the time LOL). He's an amazing friend. You're probably wondering why all the sudden all this lovey dovey stuff... Well... he's outa town all this week! I miss my man!

the Muskogee Water Park!!! Matt took a vacation day Monday so he, Eli, & I went to the Muskogee water park. It was SO fun! Definitely worth the hour drive out there! It only costs $5/adult plus gas of course. But, ya can't put a price on family fun time!

This pool wasn't deep at all, it was just right to let Eli practice swimming and yet still let us have easy access to him IF/WHEN he went under!

Big Splash!!!!!

We took Eli to Big Splash Friday evening w/the Andersons & Howells. It was SO fun! Eli had a blast! (Mommy & Daddy had fun too...)

We went for the 'Night Splash' it was perfect! Cost us like $21 and it wasn't too hot, didn't have to re-apply sunscreen on Eli every 30 min., & not really busy! It was great!

I didn't take my camera but Kristen did so all these pics. are from her! **Thanks girl for being on top of being photo mom outa our group**

**Aiden**
I just LOVE this kiddo! Aiden talks SO much and amazes me w/his sentences & repeating! Aiden will always give me kisses even when MY son won't! Thanks Aiden for always being my sweet boy and giving me kisses!






**Hunter**
What a sweet boy! Hunter is about 7 months younger than Aiden & Eli but man this boy has NO trouble keeping up & holding his own. I love to see Hunter smile. He's got the sweetest smile around!
