Trail Days Adventure....

My dad took Eli, Alex (my niece), & me to Trail Days. Eli loved riding the cars. He wouldn't ride anything but the cars! I would put him on other rides and he would cry "NNNNOOOOOOO... CARS!" Then once I put him on the cars again he just laughed and laughed... So funny! My kid has a love obsession w/cars!

Here is my dad, Alex, & Eli on the carousal.

My Quaterback!!!

We went out and had a picnic the other day and Eli brought his football. Here are a few action shots of him playing! He thought it was funny to throw the ball then chase it down! He even said "hut hut" a couple times!

Here's my wonderful Hubby!!!!

Something about Nothing (Really)

1st and foremost.... HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all moms reading this blog! What a blessing you are to your children, husbands, families. Moms ROCK!!!! : )

I really don't have a huge blog to post. Hopefully will have some more pics. after Mother's day celebrations.

Here are just some random pics. of my precious Elijah Warren! He's so big! I can't believe he will be 2 in a couple months! Not to mention he really is HUGE! He is over 3 ft. tall now and weighs 31 lbs. (almost), all this putting him in the 84% on weight and 98% on height! Crazy! Had to take him to the Dr. last Mon. b/c he's been breaking out in this awful rash w/these strange welps every time we go outside! Yup it's allergies! My poor son got his mom's allergies! That and my eyes are about all he got from me! So he's on a daily allergy medicine and when he turns 2 we get to allergy test him! Any volunteers to take him? Dr. said w/the rash he's getting now he prob. has pretty bad allergies and will prob. have to be on weekly shots at some point! Keep ya posted on that!

OK OK OK here are the pics!!!

Took my Monkey to see the Monkeys.....

I took Eli to the zoo a month ago, my mom came along! We went on a Monday, which is by far the BEST time to go! I actually let Eli out of the stroller to walk around. I would NEVER do that on a weekend!
Eli's favorites were the monkey and the River otters.

Now the monkeys and River otters were Eli's favorite ANIMALS, but his favorite thing about the zoo was definitely the TRAIN!!! He loves that thing, as I'm sure every toddler boy does! Here we are on the train....

CHOO! CHOO!

The zoo has a new Feather Fest thing. It's an outdoor 'greenhouse' thing where there are TONS of birds! They gave us sticks w/birdseed on them. The birds would just come land on you it was so neat! Now, Eli wouldn't let the birds land on him. He would just chase them! So cute! From time to time the birds would fly from one end of the 'house' to the other in this massive bird tornado, Eli would run w/them just laughing! I'm not a big bird fan to be perfectly honest. They kinda freak me out! But I survived! He He He He

Best Buds

We had a fun day earlier in the week.... Aiden and his little dog Emma got to come to our house for a few hrs.
Aiden is about 3 weeks older than Eli. The boys go to church together and Kristen and I try to get them together at least once a week. I love Aiden like he's another son! I believe Kristen feels the same about Eli. It's great to have friends to relate to on the matter of God, husbands, family, and our kids! Anyway, Matt got home just in time to join us on our adventure. That's right I'm insane! I decided in my infinite wisdom that I was alone going to take the 2 toddler boys, the dog, and the wagon for a walk! Not such a big deal you say? Then you forgot the most important part of this story... I live in an apartment on the 2nd floor! YIKES!! Anyway, my wonderful husband came home just in time to help me! Poor guy he'd been at work for 15 hrs., but b/t us I think he was more worried about the boys and Emma than me! Ha Ha Ha...
So we got everyone downstairs and loaded in the wagon. I then realize it's kinda cold out, so back up I go to get hoodie sweatshirts for both boys. At that moment I saw the cutest thing ever! The boys were dressed alike! T-shirts, windpants, Nike's, and now Osh Kosh hoodies! ADORABLE!!! Well see for yourselves!!!

Aiden is showing Eli an airplane!!!

After playing and being pulled in the wagon the boys were hungry! I just think these pics. of them sitting across the table from each other is so cute!

And Emma!!!!

L O N G Time No Posts

I haven't forgotten how to log on here and write in case you're wondering! Just been busy doing nothing!
We are outside a lot. So like Brandi said being inside at a computer really isn't fun. Matt and I celebrated our 5 yr. anniv. last weekend (the 26th)! WOW it seems like yesterday we were nervously walking down the aisle wondering what was to come for us! Who knew! I was so calm on our wedding day, things went wrong my bouquet was not the pretty bouquet I wanted/expected, I forgot my necklace, bracelet, & earrings, my dress got a noticeable snag, BUT I didn't care!!! I even said to my mom, sister, and Beth (all of whom I believe to this day were more nervous than me) I said "is Matt here? I'm here. We have the preacher? We have 2 witnesses? All the answers were YES! So I said OK then we're getting married today! The thing I will NEVER forget about our wedding day was the look on Matt's face once I rounded the corner and we were looking at one another! The aisle seemed SO long to get to him, my future husband (future being like 15-20 min away!!)... I really think my Dad tugged my arm and walked SLOWER than any man has ever walked as we headed down the aisle. He He He... So 5 yrs. later, here we are... Things are great! I love Matt more today than I did 5 yrs. ago. Things are not always what we expect, but then what fun would that be????
I don't know why or how I got off on this tangent of my hubby and our wedding day, but hey that's what this blog is for right???

Here are the pretty flowers I got delivered to me at work last Friday (the 25th). Very pretty purple flowers!!!

Matt got off work early on Sat. (our actual anniv.), so he, Eli, & I ventured out to Broken Arrow to Las Cabos. We'd never been there, but we had heard that it was great. It was good, nothing really special to us. We figure we can get the same thing here in Owasso. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not worth the drive to BA. :)

Randon-ness....

Really nothing going on in our home lately! Eli and I went to the zoo today. He had a blast! He LOVED the train, chased the geese, thought the monkeys were crazy, and the river otters were pretty funny too! I have pics. but will post them later.

There is really nothing going on!!!

Eli is talking a lot more. He's to the age where he'll repeat words if you tell him "say ---" (sometimes anyway). His obsession with bubbles is growing. I picked him up from church last Sunday and his hair was a MESS! I jokingly asked Kristen what was going on w/it. She told me my son was crazy in the bubbles -- all in them! Well, that brought to our attention that we really haven't brought out the bubbles we have from a yr. ago. Got them out and man o man what a blast we have!! Just tonight Eli and I were outside playing with bubbles and he decided that HE could do it and he didn't need MY help! The phrase "WHAT A MESS" is an understatement! There were bubbles ALL over him and me both. Once we came back inside into the tub he went. I washed him then had Matt watch him so I could jump in the shower cause I was STICKY too! Boys will be boys! The messier and dirtier something is the more fun it is to do or play with or even eat! I absolutely love being Eli's mom! I really wasn't sure if I would know what to do with a boy once he got past the infant stage, but I have to say I think I'm doing a pretty good job being 'messy/dirty/rough & tumble'! Hooray for me! He He He He

"Onery Lil Boy"

He shoots... He scores!!!

This is the Elmo we bought Eli at Sesame Street Live, Eli told us "Elmo ride" and put Elmo on the car like this!! So cute!!!
