A night @ grandma & grandpa's results in...

EXHAUSTION! Eli spent the night @ Matt's parents' house Friday evening. He didn't nap Friday day, went to bed about 9:15 PM Friday night, & woke-up at 5:00 AM Saturday morning! Eli never wakes up that early! Guess he wanted to see his grandma! He He

So after I picked him up about noon we ran over to Brandi's to help w/the garage sale and left there about 2:45 PM, so Eli had been up since 5:00 that morning! My son who NEVER sleeps in the car passed out before we got outa the neighborhood practically.

Having a bad day?

Well, I was! It was a rough/emotional/probably hormonal/silly crazy day and I was not dealing well. Eli was in a great mood it was just all me being fussy! He and I needed to run some errands, while I was getting ready I was praying that God would change my heart that day, I needed an attitude adjustment! Well, He did! He did it through my amazing 2 yr old son! Eli was so funny this morning. I put him in his car-seat and he was just laughing and smiling so much how could I not be happy myself.

Needless to say things were looking up for my attitude that day! It was a good day and I thank God and my son for that! : )

Going to church...

Just a few pics. of Eli before church last Sunday. It's crazy to me how much of a 'big' boy he looks like now.




The "choo choo train".... EVERY Sunday morning the same man drive the big golf cart around to pick people up and drive them to the front doors of the church, well no matter how close or far away I park Eli HAS TO RIDE the "TTTRRRAAAIIINNNNNN"!!! On this particular day I had my camera in my purse & for the 1st time Eli climbed up front to ride! : )

It's so funny watching how excited he gets about church, now I know he doesn't know the reason for it yet, but I'm so happy that he LOVES it there! He has this routine every Sunday morning: ride the 'train', get off say 'thank you & bye bye', give the driver 5, then he runs up to the 2-3 men at the front door and high 5's them all at least once if not more than once, then he runs and sees Roy Smith! Kids crack me up...

My prayer for Eli is that he never loses this wonderful desire to be church and that as he grows and changes his desire for being at church grows and changes into a desire for a relationship with our AMAZING LORD AND SAVIOR! God bless my son, you're awesome Mr. Elijah Warren!

A quick Thanks!

I wanted to say THANK YOU to Brandi & Kristen for manning the garage sale when I couldn't be there. I had a lot of stuff in it but y'all didn't mind since I had to work (dumb job ha ha )... I love you girls & I really appreciate what y'all did for me! You're awesome. (BOOMER SOONER)... SHHHH DON'T TELL MATT I SAID THAT! Love ya all.

Got Pillows???

My son is OBSESSED with pillows! The more the better!
We decided Sat. when it was raining all day we'd watch Nemo and before it even started this is where Eli was! He sat there almost the WHOLE movie!

K E N N Y C H E S N E Y......

Back in June Matt bought us tickets to see Kenny Chesney & LeaAnn Rimes on Sept. 10th (last Wed.) at the new BOK Center. Sooo... Wed. was our 'big' date night. I have been so excited about this concert since he told me he got us tickets!

Well, Wed. rolled around and I heard on the radio that LeaAnn Rimes was sick and she wasn't going to be there I was SO sad! Miranda Lambert was there instead :'( tear. I'm not a fan of hers. BUT KENNY was still going to be there! Yea!!!!

We went to eat at Spaghetti Wharehouse before the concert and I was reminded of what it was like to go to dinner w/o a 2yr. old! We had so much fun. Just us. I have to say I remembered the restaurant being better, Matt said he thought he heard they changed owners or something, so we decided when we ever want Italian again Olive Garden is our place!




I have to say I don't know how to work my new camera, so I really couldn't get 'good' pics. at the concert, but after a little while I discovered I could kinda shoot pics. of the huge screens they had up! Silly I know, but that's all I could get! (Kenny wouldn't stand still for me!) Ha Ha Ha...






So this will DEFINITELY make everyone laugh... the lady who was sitting in front of me was wearing a shirt that said "KENNY CHESNEY" plain as day, so when the concert was in full swing and she had NO idea I took this pic!! (See I had planned it for when he was singing and she was def. not paying attention to what was going on behind her! Matt said I am totally crazy... He is probably right!)

We had a WONDERFUL time. I didn't realize how much I missed one on one time w/my hubby. I love him so much.

Eli's new room

I finally got my AWESOME new camera so I decided it was well over time to take a couple pics. of Eli's room. Now I have not put anything on the walls or the border, but you can see the color! We are doing a race-car theme if anyone has any suggestions please send em my way! : )
