PRAYER REQUEST

I have been in extreme pain since Thursday, I am having pain in my lower back along w/my lower right abdomen. I cannot stand or sit w/o being in severe pain. Saturday morning when I woke up it was just Eli and I cause Matt was @ work, well I got out of bed, PAINFULLY, but I couldn't go any further. I could not walk. I was forced to climb back into bed, call my awesome mother in law & have Matt come from work. Eli woke up and stayed in bed w/me until Matt got home and my mother in law got there... I was in the worst pain of my life, even compared to drug free child birth! Matt got me up, I was determined to walk to the car and not have to take an ambulance, I made it. (not easily) We went to the ER, they got me right back, and the tests started!!! They were thinking it was my appendix, but I don't have one - was removed in 2007 hahaha, then they were convinced it was kidney stones... CAT scan showed it was not that... So, I left there w/the diagnosis of a 'severe/major cyst rupture'. I have had cysts rupture before and it was never like this.

Here it is Sunday evening, I am 'better' but I still can't stand or sit w/o extreme pain. We have an appt. w/a specialist on Wed afternoon, hopefully we will have some answers then.

This is a long email I know, but this is not a simple prayer request.
PRAISES-
*my wonderful husband and mother in law
*Eli was awesome when it was just us Sat morning, he just layed in my bed
*my sister came over Sat night and helped me all day today
*Kristen Anderson & Lori Pogue for praying I know the moment I texted them (I felt the prayers immediately)
***the staff at the hospital was awesome!!!

PRAYERS-
*immediate pain relief as I cannot function
*answers to why this happened (possibly the fertility medicine I have been on for 3 mos)
*pregnancy possibilities
*strength for both Matt and I as we deal with hard choices we will be facing sooner than later

"With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" Matthew 19:26
I know no matter what we come to, big or small, we cannot do it alone, but God will never leave us nor forsake us and we can do all things through Him who gives us strength. I also know, God is bigger than any of this and He has a perfect plan, I just need to scoot over and let Him work!!!! God is so good!

Thank you all for taking the time to read this!
God bless you
Matt & Sarah

***THIS IS THE EML I SENT TO MY SS CLASS FOR PRAYER, I KNOW I HAVE BLOG FOLLOWERS WHO ARE PRAYER WARRIORS, PLEASE PRAY***

You Light Up My Life...

Matthew Warren Austin, I love you so much! You are my best friend, husband, lover, father to my child, and my rock.

Eli's First day of Pre-School..

Matt & I decided since Eli is always w/one of us, he would definitely benefit from being in preschool. So on Aug. 31st he started @ a local church preschool. To be totally honest, I'm not sure how he likes it, Eli is in this stage where he says 'no' to everything we say including 'did you have fun at preschool?'...

I think he likes it, but it sure would be easier if he would just say he does!!! HaHaHa

Battling lonliness & frustration...

I need to vent and what better place than my blog right? : ) We are still on the same work schedule where Matt works Sat Sun & Mon from 3:30 AM - 5:00 or later PM... I then in turn work during the week, leaving us not much time together for us and family time. It's been 3 years!!!!! I feel so alone. Matt is my best friend and my rock, but for (almost) 3 years we have been apart. We do have a few hours in the evenings during the week, but what can you do together in 2-3 hrs when during that time you have to make dinner, eat dinner, clean up dinner, play some w/Eli, bath time, bed time, then we crash!!! I feel like I have no friends to go to. My weekends are spent trying to fill the time w/making memories w/Eli... But what fun are memories w/just one parent?
Then there's church... I have been going to FBCO for 13 years & I do like it there, I love our music & feel blessed by our pastor... But lately there are so many things going on there that make it really hard for me to even go. Now I know part of that is the fact that I am there alone - from the time I walk up to the front doors I feel more alone there than anywhere else! When I was on my treatment, I really couldn't get up & get me plus Eli ready to go, so for those 8 months, we didn't hardly go. It is not right to not go I know this. I just hate going and sitting alone, no one to praise God with, discuss the sermon with, ask questions, church is a place where you are w/your spouse & I am not cut out for single parenting... Please know I don't feel I go to church for 'others' I go because I love my Lord and want to worship Him, praise Him, & learn from Him. If it wasn't for our Lord my life would be nothing. It is just so hard to do this alone. No one can understand where I am coming from unless you have dealt with this same situation. I just ask that if you are reading this you pray for my family. We need a new schedule, one that offers normalcy back to our life. Matt & I have always been that couple who did everything together... EVERYTHING, and we miss each other. I know God will provide in His perfect timing. I trust Him to do that. He has never failed us. He never will.
I know this is a depressing post and for that I am sorry. I just needed to 'talk' and obviously there's no one to talk to!! (hahaha)

Waiting...

These are lyrics to a beautiful song that speaks to me in many ways. I thought I would share it w/my blog followers.
God bless you all.

"I Am Waiting" - John Waller

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Takeing every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

Austin Water Park (AKA the sprinkler)

Matt was watering the front lawn the other evening - you can guess where this is going- yep Eli L O V E D it!!! I just love Summer time.

Eli is such a little man now! He makes us laugh all the time with things he does and says. He will be 3 next month and that just blows my mind! Where did the time go???
