Splish Splash...(In our NEW yard!!)

Quite a while back Matt bought Eli a pool for our new house so now that we're in the house we blew it up and let Eli swim. It's a really nice blow-up one from Wal-Mart (where else right?). As it turns out it had been the best $20 spent in a long time!

Our son LOVES water! And LOVES might be an understatement! As seen on the Anderson family blog, Eli, Aiden, & Hunter have had a few pool play times at Kristen's. Now there she sets Aiden's slide up so the boys can slide into the water (which we're hoping Eli gets a big slide for his b-day so we can do the same)... My point to this rambling is that he loves it! Loves water period. Going under (OK w/him), jumping, splashing, in and out, the only thing our son does not like about water is the getting OUT part!





Addie loves water too. She's still a little too young to really enjoy it w/Eli, but here Eli is actually saying to her "Addie in" then he would look at us and say "You got Addie in water?"... Funny boy!

One more thing...

Our precious baby boy Eli will be 2 on July 11th... Well, since we bought the house we decided the every little boy needs a DOG...

So, let me introduce you to the newest addition to our house... Our 4 week old (yes, I said 4 weeks) Chocolate Lab... Addie! *** Her mama had 11 pups and she was dwindling away cause she was nursing them ALL, so she stopped! The pups started eating on their own at 3 weeks pretty well, so we got her about 3 1/2 weeks (we have talked to a vet friend and he said as long as she'll eat puppy food and drink water she'd be great!)... Well, she's just awesome! She's so sweet, super smart, and just LOVES Eli! Where did the name Addie come into play? I was looking at Addie's mom online and Eli ran up sat on my lap saying dog then popped off with Addie! So, that's what she's been called ever since! It fits her too!

So much going on...

OK, so here it is... The long awaited post... Well, to be honest I'm EXHAUSTED so this will be short!

We have been in our house for a week now and we LOVE it! It's so great being back in a house! Here are a few pics. Not really much right now cause I haven't decorated like I want to, but you can see somewhat what things look like.

Busy Busy family

This will be short and sweet... We're just plain super busy lately! We close on our new home this Wednesday... Yea!!! I will most likely be w/o internet until Saturday when we get our new service connected.

Once we get settled be expecting a LONG post... or few.... Here's what we have coming up... Moving into our new home, Eli's 2nd birthday, our new puppy (yup Eli is getting a puppy for his birthday) so actually it's most likely for Matt... Ha Ha Ha...

At the Pool

I took Eli & my niece, Alex swimming the other evening. This was Eli's 1st swim in the BIG pool this yr. He absolutely LOVED it! He's def. part fish. He was kicking his legs, paddling his arms, going under, and even jumping in! He wanted me to let him go and just let him 'swim' on his own! Yea, that did not happen! : ) He did SO good!
